Not good in Assemble..Sorry Pal
Syed AameerParticipantPRODUCT NAME : GSM MODEM
HARDWARE : SIM 300 MODULE
COMMUNICATION : RS232
COMMANDS : AT
INPUT VOLTAGE : 12VDC / 1AMP

ANTENNA – PULL THE ANTENNA OUT IF THE SIGNAL IS WEAKHOW TO TEST!!!!
1. INSERT THE SIMCARD INTO SIM TRAY BACKSIDE
2. CONNECT THE RS232 CABLE TO THE PC SERIAL PORT – SERIAL PORT PROPERTIES ( RESTORE DEFAULTS – 9600 BAUD RATE)
3. OPEN HYPERTERMINAL FROM WINDOWS START>PROGRAMS>ACCESARIES>COMMUNICATIONS>HYPERTERMINAL
4. SELECT THE COMPORT WITH BAUD RATE 9600
5. TYPE “AT ” ECHO “OK” IF ECHO IS OK COMMUNICATION IS OK !!!!!!!!!+6. CHECK THE LED STATUS ( NETWORK SERCHING , NETWORK CONNECTED, IS SHOWN IN LED STATUS GIVEN BELOW)

For sending SMS in text Mode:
AT+CMGF=1 press enter
AT+CMGS=”mobile number” press enter
Once The AT commands is given’ >’ prompt will be displayed on the screen.
Type the message to sent via SMS. After this, press ctrl+Z to send the SMS.
If the SMS sending is successful, “ok” will be displayed along with the message number. For reading SMS in the text mode:
AT+CMGF=1 Press enter
AT+CMGR= no.
Number (no.) is the message index number stored in the sim card. For new SMS, URC will be received
on the screen as +CMTI: SM ‘no’. Use this number in the AT+CMGR number to read the message.

Syed AameerParticipantHello Arun,
gsm_cmd(sms); //here you are giving Enter value(That is not required)
tx_data(0x1A); //this is necessary
After typing message give only CTRL Z (0x1A) no need of Enter value(0x0D)
i didnt understand what is “AT+CSMS=1”;
you can give
AT <enter>
AT+CMGF=1 <enter>
AT+CMGS=”xxxxxxxxx” <enter>
Type a message then <CTRL+Z>
Syed AameerParticipantHello Anand,
Try to get datasheet of these…… HT640 and HT648L
It is a 8 bit encoder and decoder…………for RF
Syed AameerParticipantHey Goutam,
i think you try to write similar program as given in this site by increasing the buffer size set the Str[40]and check..hope you will get OK for AT command
Syed AameerParticipantKeep the Mazidi book and 8051 development board.
Start with LED then LCD,7 segment, switches,Keypad,Motors, sensors,Serial communication,ADC,relays, buzzers etc… Later you will come to know what u want to learn…GSM,GPS,Biometric,RF,RFID, DTMF etc…………
Syed AameerParticipantCheck the RS ,R/W and En pin s. verify that you have entered the correct port pins that you have connected.
May be because of intial commands it may also happen
lcd_cmd(0x01)
lcd_cmd(0x38)
lcd_cmd(0x06)
lcd_cmd(0x0E)
Otherwise the delay of minimum of 2ms is required when Enable is made high to low
Syed AameerParticipantPlease upload the Program…….
February 9, 2012 at 8:07 pm in reply to: receiving sms from GSM MODEM to control a stepper motor byAT89c51 #7130Syed AameerParticipanttype some text for Eg.Motor On and send the message to GSM module
from microcntroller you read the message
AT+CMGF=1 <enter>
AT+ CMGD=1 //delete the 1st message
For new SMS, URC will be received
on the screen as +CMTI: SM ‘no’. //in this case 1after that read the first message
AT+CMGR= 1<integer number where message is stored in Inbox>
check for Motor On text. if it is present then switch on the motor else dont.
Like this you can control many devices
Aamir
Syed AameerParticipantgive the ports output to h bridge(L293d).for pin number 2,7,10,15(if you are using 2 motors).then connect motors to pin number 3,6,11,14 respectively.
In program if you give 00 or 11 off state
10 one direction
01 opposite direction (*for each motor )
Repeat the above for other motor too……..
Syed AameerParticipantHi pawan,
that recieve program is written with interrupt,so when data is recieved the data will automatically store in buffer.i.e., info[check]; info[check++]=SBUF; so when data is 69 means you have completed recieved data. so you can go for check $GGA,$GGL and other. to know connect ypur GPS receiver to hyperterminal and view what all you get.
for more information you can view NMEA protocol datasheet to know the data format from GPS
Syed AameerParticipantyes Adeeb is right.. i have heard that if u entered your password number in reverse order there will be an intimation for the bank that you are in trouble and your ATM card will be blocked immediately.. i am not sure but i have heard from my friend
Syed AameerParticipantmake use of 2 or more switches with RF intrfaced with decode and encoder…
give switches output to Rf Transmitter input for encoder(HT12E) and then get the reciever output with decoder(HT12D) and control as per the switch
