Hello frnds,
I m using using 5v dc power supply and i want to reduce it in 2.5 v power supply by adding some resistor connection.
so will you please tell me how to reduce that power supply by resistor and what value of resistor is required to do this??
and which type of connection is required???
Use a Potentiometer to create a Voltage divider. Connect the first fixed terminal to your 5 Volts, the other fixed terminal to Gnd and connect the movable or variable terminal to the Output ( This is usually the Middle pin ). Vary the resistance and adjust it to get the desired output.
A 10K Pot would serve the Purpose. Google it for more information.
