Microcontroller › 8051 › USING SERIAL EEPROM AS DATA MEMORY (FLASH MEMORY)
I have read a topic on interfacing serial EEPROM with AT89C51 in EG. Can I use serial EEPROMs for storing data instead of storing opcodes/programs? And can I use it as FLASH MEMORY for write and erase data at any time? What are the changes to be made and what are the status of WR(bar), RD(bar), ALE, PSEN(bar) pins. Please give me the information. Thank you.
Hi Ganesh,
This following link is a project on 8051, using serial EPROM for storing and retreiving data.
