I am working on the circuit in which ,i used PBSS81107 (NPN) transistor. i have made 20 samples in which 2 get shot across base to collector. i want to know the reason for the same. or proctically how can i damage the trasistor (shot base and collector).
What do you want to say about that ?? Please clarify your question
However, both the NPN & PNP type bipolar transistors can be made to operate as “ON/OFF” type solid state switch by biasing the transistors Base terminal differently to that for a signal amplifier.

on base collector shorting bjt must act like a normal diode…..if it id getting damaged then there must be some voltage surge or high voltage applied to transistor somewhere
post your circuit.
what is your application?
