Electronics › Electronics › power supply not working
hello. I got this circut in net. i tried this but it is not working. here insted of bd238 and 2a733 i used bd140. help me
Hi,
How much voltage are you expecting at the output and how much are you getting? How are you giving that 32V AC input?
my need is 18V. I am not giving 32V insted i am giving 24V. In that i didnt get how current is varying, means action of that part
Hi,
Since the circuit is designed for 32V AC input, you can’t complain that it is not working unless you supply the design voltage. You are giving 10V less than the design voltage which can surely affect the circuit performance.
hay friend…
i think you required replace the r9 (27k to 18k) and will circuit working…
That’s wrong friend, Its not me who designed the circuit, but still I can say that the R9 is for limiting the current flowing towards LED indicator only. It has nothing to do with the entire circuit. reducing the value may burn off the LED with the 30V input and nothing else.
Learn to respect a circuit design as I do, which has been designed by some one who knows every details of it. Every single component is designed based on the minor details.
It is not like you can reduce the design voltage input and expect the circuit to work simply by reducing the value of a resistance.
