hello I am vead I am student This is my first post I hope soneone will help  me

first I thought to make 8 bit controller I know I need CPU and MEMORY then next question came in my mind If i make 8 bit micro controller what should be the CPU and if CPU is 8 bit then what should be the ALU

suppose I want to make n bit micro controller I need n bit cpu and n bit alu and ram/rom memory how to decide what will be CPU and ALU

    Hi,

For memory, n bit will provide you the upper limit of the memory hich we can interface with the controller. How much memory you want to interface must be decided by your end application.

For ALU, you need n bit ALU to be designed.
