Microcontroller › 8051 › Need help on SP200S USB PIC programmer
I recently brought this SP200S USB PIC programmer for ATMEL/MICROCHIP/SST http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-PIC-Programmer-ATMEL-MICROCHIP-SST-SCM-SP200S-/370529600222?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56454902de & I didn’t get any software with that so I downloaded the software from the internet, but still I am having a problem in connecting the programmer with the software, my operating system is Vista – please if anyone familiar with this programmer help me …
Was thinking about buying this same programmer because it is cheap. Downloaded files from this link: http://www.willar.com/upload/shop/SP200S_Programmer_DIY.rar
Included in this bundle is a driver for Vista. Did you install that too? What was the link you downloaded from? How is it going with your programmer now? Is it working alright and what other tools did you need to make it work? I mean do you have to compile a c program with a special compiler and upload the compiled binary/hex file to the board or is there something easier?
