Light turns on from pressure? Is this possible?

Hello,

I am fairly new to the whole electronics side of things, but i was wondering if anybody could help or direct me in terms of finding help!

I am looking into how you could something could light up through pressure? 

Eg you touch a material ( i guess with a pressure pad inside) and it would light up.

yep this is possible

u dont need to apply pressure

but just a touch

u can use IC555
