LCD 2×16 + pci18f4550

Hi

In projects which were related to interface of LCD and PIC18f4550  it is not mentioned which IDE has can be used to code? I am try to interface pic18f4550 with a pic18f4550.

Please tell me which IDE is used ?

If it is MPLAB IDE then tell the compiler used for it ( c18 or HI-tech)
IF possible prease provide the complete structure of code .,

with a firmware project file then it will really be nice.
