    Hey Guys,

    i am planning to do a course on the PIC 16F series of microcontrollers. Is it needed to know about 8051 series to proceed for this course.

    you dont need to know 8015. Its good if u have a little bit of knowledge about micro controllers though. If you dont know, still it will not be very hard.

    So what do i read about microcontrollers. I have 10 days before the course starts. Could u tell me what to read.

    You could go through Datasheets of the PIC’s you will be learning about. and there is this book “Quintessential PIC Microcontroller”. You could find that and read. Thats the book I got to refer when i was learning PIC.
