is it possible to interface serial port with AT89C52 just like interfacing C51 in the article below ? that is using max232? http://www.engineersgarage.com/microcontroller/8051projects/interface-serialport-RS232-AT89C51-circuit

But many refer to parallel programming for AT89C52 as ISP is not supported ?!?

what exactly you want to do, serial communication or serial programming ?

AT89C52 dosenot support serial programming of the chip, but you can do serial communication just like AT89C51
