    Hello everyone,

I am implementing a project on a “Fringerprint based Attendance System”. I want to know that which fringer print module is best suitable for interfacing with AT89S52?

Can we direct connect the module with microcontroller?

And what will be the process for adding & matching the fringerprints from module in microcontroller?

    Thanks for reply…

I have found two fingerprint modules from internet Model No. SM630 & Model No. R303.

I want to know which module can be best suitable for interfacing with AT89S52?

    Well I got the answer..

    Both are optical fingerprint sensor.

Storage capacity of SM630 is more than R303.

SM630 has 64kb of flash memory that can store upto 768 templates whereas R303a can store upto 120 templets.

Also prise of SM630 is more than R303.
