interfacing arduino uno with raspberry pi

hello friends,

 

i am trying to  connect raspberrypi with arduino uno through usb.

following are the error in c language:

error:undefined reference to “serialOpen  “

error:undefined reference to “serialGetchar”

 

can anybody help me???
