    Hi friends……i tried the circuit listed in this site titled as “interfacing ADC0808 with serial port and 8051 microcontroller using clock from D-Flip flop”.

     

    I gave the connections accordingly and also the same code i used for testing.It works ,but instead of the digital values of ADC i got the output in hyperterminal like this…..

     

    how can i rectify the problem?I give the input from 10K POT to ADC and from ADC to AT89C51 and then to MAX232 to PC.

    How to correct it?

    this is the output i got in the serial port.Instead of digital values i got like this.

     

    How to correct this problem.

    You need to check the Hyper Terminal Configuration. The Baud Rate, Bit Number, Parity, Stop Bit need to match with the AT89C51 UART Setting.
