    many a times i get the query about flash magic that

    “It alway shows an error-“check all  hardware connection or baud rate not matched”.

    and on the other hand you have checked each and every hardware connection more than twice, your baud rate is 9600 and the com port u have selected is the same on which you have connected you burner…

     

    then what is the error how to come out of it… 

    am i right… 

    here is the mistake what we generally do since we are not aware of it.. we never configure the hardware.. here i am writing the steps just go through them.. and try to burn you controller then…

    step 1:

    go to option->advance options

     

    step 2:

    just uncheck the option marked in red in the figure below… since you are using only two pins Tx and Rx of your

    serial port to burn your controller…..

     

     

    now burn your ic and let me know if you have any problem…

    Hello ,

    I hv tried the same but still microcontroller is unable to connect

    Error is as stated :

    1:-unable to transfer or receive .Ensure that port is not being used by another device.

    Where as, I found the port dedicated.

    I m using RS 232 cable for my project.

    Please help.

    hello ,

    I hv followed the above steps but still unable to connect .

    It asks me to

    “RESET THE DEVICE INTO ISP MODE”

    even after resetting the hardware i m unable to connect

    Please help

    Hope to get quick response.

    i dont remember exactly but the PSEN pin of 89V51RD2 micro controller has to be either connected to Vcc or ground
