Electronics › Electronics › (Help) Car Alternator Charger
Sir/Madam:
Greetings!
humbly request your assistance in building my Car Alternator Battery Charger. I would like to try if this can be done as i have 1 spare alternator here at home….. I am going to use either 12volts or 220 volts motor to turn the alternator
(Open for your suggestion/s)
Overview on how it would work…
The motor would turn the alternator to produce current in charging the car battery / the car battery would then be connected to an inverter 220v output for home usage.
I need a circuit to atleast control the charging of the battery an over charging/discharging circuit…..
Alternator – 80-90 AMP
Motor – optional 220v/12v (i have a washing machine motor 220v available)
Battery – 12V 50 AMP
Inverter – i am planning to buy one but what sould be the right specification..?
I am not an engineer and i only have a little knoledge on electronics i hope you could help me guys, thanks.
