GSM module receive sms by turning LED on or off using PIC16f877A

Hi there, I badly need ur help. I need some codes on how I should be able to receive sms in my microcontroller then allows a led to turn on depending on the message, such as LED_ON or LED_OFF. I am using pic16f877a microcontroller. I am able to send a message using the microcontroller, but I am not able to read the message by turning the LED on or off. I have read some threads and forums here, but most of them are transmitting, and not receiving. Please do help me out.. Thanks
