Microcontroller › 8051 › Finger print module
Hello everyone,
I am making a project on interfacing fingerprint module r305 with microcontroller 8051..i am having a problem..The problem is when i suppl 5v power to finger print module the led of module gets on and then gets off..It again gets on when i switch off the power supply and then again gets off..so does that means that my fingerprint module is not working properly?? please answer soon..
Hi Shilav,
Is your power supply getting heated up? Check for any short circuit.
Thank you sir for your reply..sir my power supply is not getting heated up..
Hi Shilav,
Don’t worry. Nothing is wrong with the module. Its designed to go in power down mode if it has been kept on idle mode for a long time.
You can do one thing. When the LED is off, check power supply output with multimeter. You can fing LM117 IC in this module. Check input as well as output of LM117.
Check it out and post the output values here.
