Ferrous only sensing sensor

Hi,

 

I need the circuit for ferrous only detecting detectors.the sensing materials is 2 to 5 mm and sensing distance wil be 30 to 40 mm.

Your question is not understandable, expalin your question in better way. what your are meaing for ferrous only and what is the application you want to work on.

You can use Arduino with a Proximity Sensor for detection of Ferrous Only Materials. In the following project – engineersgarage.com/contribution/speedometer-using-arduino-and-can-protocol, proximity sensor is used to detect RPM of DC motor. You can use a proximity sensor with desired range for detection of Ferrous only materials and indicate positive detection by glowing an LED. It is as simple as detecting a digital input and setting a digital output high or low to glow LED.
