     by referring to circuit on Engineers garage i build the circuit for interfacing ds12887 with 8051. i have used philips 8051 controller P89V51RD2. but the rtc ds12887 time is not getting updated. it is getting initialized but not updated. i also cleared the 1st bit in register B so that update will be enabled but in vain. i also referred code diven on engineers garage but i didnt get any clue what is going wrong. please help

    Check the hardware connections..This creates the biggest problems when working with RTC

    sir,

          i am also facing  problem in this circuit .when i start the power on switch  lcd display blinking cursor then i press the time set key ,set timing display after setting the hr and minute the cursor blinking continously its not comming out from the loop so only set timming display, can you please help me ,because second time i re assembled the circuit but problem as it is.
