distance measurement using laser or light

how do we create a obstacle in proteus whose distance is to be measured?? The light reflected from the obstacle is detected by ir sensor.So hw do we do it??

i saw a project by Himanshu choudary in this site but it does not tell hw to create an obstacle in proteus??

Also doesn't light from ir  source  doesnt get detected by ir sensor??so hw will we know whether its light reflected from obstacle or from the source itself…

For distance measurement Ultrasonic sensor is better option !!!!!!

Hye Antony,

Obstacle measurement sensor is not available in proteous Library. Ultasonic sensor is good for measure the distance but not available in proteus library.

Refer the tutorials in engineersgarage related to ultasonics sensor interfacing and working.
