    Hi,

I want to display the value of temperature recorded by LM35 on pc. I want to interface the LM35 via parallel port. I am following the two circuit diagrams but i dont know which will work fine or what modification to make in the circuit. The first one has the serial data output.

I shall be thankful if anyone can help me

    Here are circuits:

if u r using Microcontroller then definately you have to apply serial port technique

using max 232 ic so use the first digram but make an amendment to use micro controller to be interface with 808adc

    Hi,

Actually i donot want to use micro controller. I found another circuit diagram but i donot know whether it will work fine or not for controlling the temperature periodically connected via parallel port.

    Here is the circuit:

try it.. read how adc0808 works download its datasheet…

you can directly read the 8bit output pins of adc with parallel port
