hi,
can anyone give idea of choosing and knowing the dc/dc convertor . which is needed to step down supply from 48v to 12 v .

you dont need a converter use a regulator to convert your high input voltage to lower voltage from same source use 7812 voltage regulator

Umar, 48V is more than enough for a 7812 to burn off.

what is the current requirement of the ckt there are many ckts but need current.
