    Hi,

    I want to know that whether DB-25 male or DB-25 female connector can be used for parallel port interfacing?? Would there any difference between the two??

    its very simple just take the concept that,female connector is at reciver and male connector is transmitter

    But whether female connector can be used for parallel intefacing or not?

    DB-25 male connector has pins.(i.e., have 25 pins)

    DB-25 female connector has holes.(have 25 holes)

     

    These two male and female connectors are required for parallel port interfacing.

     

    If ur cpu has DB-25 connector female connector, you have to connect DB-25 male connector for parallel port interfacing.

     

     

    In the below first one is DB-25 female.

    they are all correct.. Im telling you interfacing is about the  connector.. you can still interface without using any connector you can solder everything as long as the connection is correct….

     

    connection is just for standards and easyness.. so the answer of your connection is yes.. got through with the each pin of DB25 and study..
