Microcontroller › 8051 › Control Peristaltic
hi all,
I want to buy a peristaltic pump ( for an infusion pump ) that is capable to be programmed by a 8051 microcontroller ,surely by being deiven via a stepper motor or Dc motor , what is the best choice for such peristaltic pump, and also I want to buy a good stepper or dc for this application, the main feature I want is to be low-cost and good performance
any suggestions please ?
my senior design is an infusion pump
Hi,
It is good to use DC motor as stepper moters will have very less torche which may not be sufficient to drive pump.
Once you have purchased the pump, check its performance using LOW SPEED- HIGH TORQUE dc motors. If you want to purchase it, I can give you as I have many motors available at my home which I had purchased for developing various applications for fun.
SHAH DISHANT
thank you for help,
just give me the model name, I will buy it from here
Hi,
Search online like indiamart ebay etc. and see which meets your requirements. Once you have got a suitable pump, we can mve further.
Once you select the pump, send me datasheet. We will try our best to help you.
I have searched for long time but found nothing suitable for a medical infusion pump !!
