Hello guys. Can you suggest me which ic to use in my caller id project? I want to use ics that work even if the telephone line is in on-hook condition. I used dtmf decoder ic 8870 but doesnot work on on-hook condition. Hopping for your fast response. thanks guys…

hello, my dtmf decoder ic 8870 only shows the dialled numbers but not the recieved numbers. I searched and found out that the phone must be lifted ie the telephone line must be on hook-off condition to receive calling party’s number. So if there’s any ic that works on on-hook conditin ie. without lifting the telephone from the reciever.. thanks.
