    In the Mosquito Repellant circuit diagram the circuit operates “ON” and “Off” for approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds. How is this determined by R1 and C1 values?

    pls post the circuit diagram also

    if there is IC555 in the circuit in monostable mode then its equation for time period is

    T = 1.1 R C

    if anything else I have to see the circuit first

    I cannot get the circuit to paste here. It is in the Electronic Circuits folder, if you show the alphabitized view it is under Periodically Turning On and Off Mosquito Repellant Circuit diagram.

    based on circuit the equation is

    0.69 R1 C1

    I do not understand when I multiply R1, 4.7K, with C1, 0.000001,  and then with 0.69 I get 0.003243. How does  that compare with 2 min 30 seconds?
