Automatic Custom Display on LCD using AVR

Can anyone tell me how can one put an automatic custom character display mechanism on AVR once a key is pressed?

Heyy..i am sorry i dont know about ur questn…i am askin u a questn sice u r doin sumthing related to LCD.

 I want to use both the lines of LCD (16×2 LCD). Can u please help me if u have a assembly language program for interfacing with 8051….i want the program..pls help me..
