I am also trying to interface GSM modem(sim 900) along with micro controller using PC and LCD. I have followed the instructions provided in this website! But the thig is when i execute it, there is no echoing from thePC when I type AT Commands in the hyper terminal, also my LCD is completely blank and does not show any message. I am using NXP micro controller (P 89V51RD2BN).
ANy help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

i am also trying to dump the code using flash magic, and i have been facing several problems in doing so. I am using usb to serial converter(DB-9 port). Also i am not using any developing board, hence i am not using any reset switch, i simply power up the circuit when asked to reset in isp mode.
Firstly i had problems regarding the baud rate(i had selected 9600 as baud rate) and while doing so auto bauding had failed. Then i unchecked DTR to control RST. and now the error that comes is “Unable to communicate(transfer/receiver)”.
I have come to a standstill and any help would be highly appreciated.
