Yes, That’s why it can be a great technology like imagine you are at some other place & you want to control some equipments/Appliances at your Factory/Home just you need active internet Connection then view the scenario & control the scenario……..

In this system main thing is to Interface GSM Modem with Processor & it should be like that it can give signal to multiple modules by reading message.

speaking frankly i don’t haev that much money to afford my ideas & even time i am just an ECE engineer working for one company to survive & in my time I just think about these all ideas and really I am publishing them for someone who can afford it & implement it for good causes if any one of it is impleented by anyone it will be good for all human beigns.
To implement this Idea I am thinking to make all modules working then will Assemble them on real car.
the most important thing is to controll stearing using servo mechanism. so have thought of design it first.
second step is interfacing of GPS system with Processor to trigger main Program.
Structure will be like first user has to enter security Codes & destination location then Program will be initiated.
Program will Check for surround & check current Location then virtually creat destination path using maps then DPS’s image processing will controll stearing, Brakes & Accelerator & parallely GPS will continuosly check for co-ordinates.
I think this ssystem should be multi processor system.

its just my Idea but i have basic structure of the same in my mind as mentioned below:
Input Modules:
1. GPS Module- for Providing real time co ordinates of current location & Previous Location.
2. Ultrasonic Sensors – to Controll the speed & Dirction & also to ensure safe distance from other vehicals.
3. IR LED based sensor to detect road or we can also use image processing based sensors to detect the road.
Processing Module:
1. Any High Speed Processor which Can collect and process real time data with its priority from above mentioned sensor modules.
Output:
1. Output Module is like Servo controlling unit to control the stearing wheel based on the processed inputs from GPS & Ultrasonic sensors.
2. electromechanical system controlled by Processor to control the brakes & Accelirator.

basically the idea is to make cheaper autonoumos car for commercial purpose.

instead of AT89S52 use 2 PIC16F887/886 controllers.
if you are using ZigBee modules of Microchip then you can have readymade stack from its web site…..now you just need to modify Application layer according to your application….
so use 1 controller for interfacing ZigBee module & another to interface GSM modem & then write a code to interface both controllers…..
you can do in such a way like if you some input from ZigBee then the output of its PIC controller should be INPUT of GSM systems input….
for interfacing circuit study the educational interfacing kit of PIC controller given by Microchip & modify according to your need…
