hey, i didnt got dat s/w from internate.my frd givn dat me.but my o.s is diff…i think u shold use usb to serial card if u r not getting s/w compatible to ur o.s…or u should change o.s………don’t u think u should use resent o.s????
n i heard that these drivers gives problem to windows vista/windows 7..also these are costly for these o.s.so its better to follow above mention choices…

of cource,u can retarget a C source code originally written for 8051 microcontroller to PIC.
m using pic from 16F series n its working fine with some 8051 c code.in pic ,there are some advance features are available( in comparison with 8051).like built in adc,capture/compare module etc…so when u are using ports as i/p or o/p, u have to disable all alternate features to use pin for particular operations.
also u have to enable /disable different reset fun of pic according to ur appl..also choose perfect oscillator for program………..
besides following all this, make initialization/declarations as per syntax of different PIC.
best luck.
chitraParticipanthi Ritesh,
1> to use usb to serial cable u should download proper driver for ur o.s.
i had same prob once, then i used s/w from BAFO.now its working fine.
2>while using flash magic, check option COM port in 1st step.that should be the same of usb-serial com port.ok.
now check proper device.( like P89V51RD2 ) .again if its not working c if sw of power supply( of 5 volt on interfacing card ) is on.make that OFF.load hex file in flash magic.now it will show msg ‘set device in isp mode’, now make that sw ON.n u’l program ic. ( or even that p.s. sw is ON. u can dung hex code while pressing reset key on card )

i had this problem once.there was problem in my s/w delay.
check out it. and there should be very ltl delay while switching betn enable pin.
chitraParticipant1> though m not using while(1) loop,its giving values in SBUF……..
2> n m doing some experiment with that ,so i wanted to send array thr’ serial com…..i knw other methods will b benificial…..but y this is not working?????
if SBUF can hold values, then y it is not copying the same on port?
i have seen some xamples to send single value on port.
but again the same question arises, y port is not showing dat values???
plz help…..
