Somebody help me. I am doing a master degree project on wireless sensor/actuator network for greenhouse automation. i have read so much from the net on the electronic components i will need; from sensors to zigbee modules, shield, adapters, arduino boards, etc. Can someone pls help me to identify all the software and hardwares ( with part number) i’ll need to accomplish this task ?. God bless.

Tobin creg, thanks for your desire to help me out. I intend to use the following sensors: Humidity, Light, Environmental temperature sensor, and Soil moisture sensor. There is something you have mentioned which is interesting; that it is not easy to write the codes for zigbee, so what other alternative are there. My plan was to use the following hardware:

    Humidity sensor.

    Temperature sensor.

    Light sensor.

    Soil moisture sensor.

    Arduino uno (microcontroller board)

Relay control module that will drive a variety of actuators.

    Xbee series 2 module

Xbee explorer (usb)- for modification of firmware.

Like i said in my earlier post, i have read so much on this research topic, but i have come to realise that reading without hands on practical make the whole thing boring. I live in Nigeria, and so far i have not been able to find a store were i can get these hardware. pls u can give suggestion/ advice in this regard.

    Good bless you.
