wireless distance measurement

Hi,

I need to build a wireless distance measurement system to measure the distance between  one fix point and a moving object and they will not be in a single line always.The object may be any side of the fix point . The distance may vary from 1 meter to 300 meters depending on the object placement.I am finding a proper sensor  for this purpose.

Please suggest any sensors which will be suitable for my application.

You can use ultrasonic sensor to measure the distance

Hi,
Thank you for replying. I don’t know any ultrasonic sensor having a range of 300m. Can you please suggest any ultrasonic sensor that have this range?
It will be a great help.

ultrasonic sensors have range upto 4 meter

for 300 meter you have to use RADAR gun
