hello sir/mam,     if crystal oscillator frequency is 12MHz…………then given  peripheral clock can be 15Mhz, 30Mhz, 60Mhz………..depending on a register APBDIV….in ARM….i want to know….what will be the change on the changing the pheripheral clock..which parameter varies.

    Hi Abiram,

The CLOCK FREQUENCY parameter of the peripheral varies ans those parameters which are related to the CLOCK FREQUENCY.

In datasheet it might be given as CPU FREQUENCY or using similar terms!

Which peripheral of the ARM controller are you talking about?

    Hi,

By changing the crystal frequency, the execution speed will vary.

If you are using peripherals on UART, it will nt work as BAUDRATE will be changed. For making it working, you have to change value of MULVAL and DIVVAL of ARM7 accordingly.

    All the best.
