Want to interface GPS & RFID modules at the same time.

How can we interface a GPS module & a RFID module to a AT89C51 micro controller at the same time ?. There is only one Rx pin available, is there any way to do that ?

As far as i know it is impossible. You better multiplex (switch) the data coming from both the modules using CD4016.

 AT89C51 micro controller has only 1 serial. In your project consist of 2 serial device….

 

so u must use a switching relay for using 2 serial device……

but at a time u can use one device only…..
