using 8 LEDs to display 30 letters with 8051

i had made Hardware…which is mounted on a motor… the length of Shaft which has 8 leds mounted on it is around 20 c.m..

 

now the problem is i had made program in C for displaying my name i.e, KSHITIJ.. but the trouble is that i am getting only 2 or 3 letters on display…. “KSH” onl;y.. i had made for full name but this is my problem.. that only 2 – 3 letters are therer in out put.

 

i had made many changes like changing the delay, Propeller shaft radius… even battry and crystal …… but i am sticking with this problm……..

 

so can u help me about that??
