    hello i connected usb power cable to self made 8051 development board.but power is not sufficient to board..what is the solution.

    friend, current supplied by usb is in milli amperes which is not sufficient to drive controller applications so either you can use adapter along with 7805 IC or you can buy  a power supply unit

    yes correct. atleast you have to give 1A current to your supply board so that it work properly.

    Better option, purchase power adapter.
