usb db9 cable

i use windows 7 32 bits system.

 

i want to load the program on p89v51rd2 ic. and i also done make the loader. when i load the program ihe msg is display “reset isp switch” but when i press reset switch the program is not loading.

i check but there is not hardware problem.

 

i use hl2303 usb to db9 cable.

it is possible to load the program by using usb to db9 cable in windows 7?

 

 

for loading which laptop operating system is i prefer?

Ritesh,

Windows XP is best suitable operating system for the above problem. Windows7 also supports programming the microcontroller but you need proper USB to Serial drivers installed on the laptop.

Suggest you to check the same on other PC or laptop with WinXP & you can come to an conclusion.
