I am a resident of Chennai. Recently TNEB official changed Electronic Static Energy Meter 3 phase supply. In thie meter lot of displays are coming. I wanted to know the details of the displays in the meter. Is the electronic meter tamper proof? What I mean to ask is energy theft be controlled with this? Has it got any gadget inbuilt to show that the energy is being used illegally?
