Hi, I wish to build a solar charge controller to limit the charging of batteries from solar panels. Is there any links or website which provides the circuit for solar charge controller with explanation? I went through a lot of websites however most of them only provide circuit with little explanation.
THE link may be useful to you
if you want to add mc to set the time duration for charging the battry use AT 89c2051
or if you are a bigginer in eletronics project see to the link
http://simpleelectronic.com/2009/06/29/solar-charger-controller-circuit-diagram/
the basic concept is buck converter design, norally if PV voltage reaches above 14v there should be control to maintain the voltage to 14v from PV, so you have to reduce the duty cycle, you select the MC with PWM channel get ADC feedback and adjust the duty cycle according to ADC voltage
i dont know english but i have tried.
i think the useble circuit is amp controller.
that circuit is the helpfull your solar pannel project.
that circuit is also working in mobile charger.
the battery is full then amp was low so is not defected to battery….
