    I am doing my final year project on the topic Simple toll plaza system using low frequency RFID interfaced with 8051 microcontroller (AT89C51). Can I use AT89s51 instead of AT89c51. Keeping all the components same and also the code?

    Please help me out with this.

    Hey Shuvankar

    you can use AT89S51 instead of AT89c51.no any big difference between them but AT89S51 has advantages of In System Programming.

    Thanks for the info. I wrote the program successfully into the microcontroller and when I completed the circuit and gave 5v supply only the LCD lights up and it is displaying nothing. I am not getting what is the problem here. Could help me out on detecting the fault.
