Simple 8051 program

Hello,

i am beginer with asembler and i need help with my program. I am trying to write program to print arithmetic average of numbers in external memory, last number is 0FFH, numbers are positive and negative 8 bit. Could you help me or send some link for this problem? I have read many tutorials but i could not solve this problem.

   Can you tell me which interface you are going use for the external memory?(e.g I2C/spi)Can you tell which eternal memory you are going to use (SD card or eeprom).

you just refer some good books for 8051 micro controller. you will surely get the idea and u will be able to build the program our self
