    i make the loader for p89v51rd2.

     

    i load through pc its ok.

    but when i load through laptop by using usb to db9 cable it not load. it is require to null the remaining pin of usb db9 cable.?

     

    i use flashmagic software.

     

    i check my cable its working.

    first check your devise manager for your usb to serial port.

    if it is in the list it is fine

    or else update your drivers

    if it is displaying the port as COM3 ..COM5…etc

    select the perticular COM port in the flash magic window

     

    at first i got the same problem but fially i found a solution

    recently i found a USB to UART (TTL) converter from silicon chip it comes with a driverif you

    use it you dont need a MAX232 IC you can directly connect the RX and TX

    i check all about u say. i use windows 7.

     

    in windows 7 it is possible which u say?

     

    your device is ready to use like this msg disply hence driver and cable is ok. but what about operating system. in 7 it is work or not?

     

    can u mail me your driver for usb to db9 cable?
