im trying to make a robot fish

    using atmega16L microcontroller

    and 5 servo motors

    and RF modules

i need help in water proffing servo motors

    and

you can try liquid resin which works like liquid plastic.. you can dip your servo (with shaft coming out) in it and when it dries it’ll form a waterproof coating. a cheaper option could be putting your servo in a balloon and somehow caulk the entry from where shaft comes out.

structure of fish you’ll have 2 design urself based on your requirements and available resources.

    thanks for your reply

    my doubt is

how to stop water entering throuh

    shaft of servo motor

in some vedios i saw that they r opening servo and applying greez to gares and

    plastic on circuit

if u hav any idea about it please tell me

and another problem is i need a battery

that can drive up to six 2kg torque servos

you see if you apply liquid resin properly, water wont enter through shaft also. it all depends on how well you apply the resin. although you may go in for coating the internal gears and circuitry inside the servo for more protection but I dont think that would be required if your external coating is effective.

and battery you can easily find for driving your servos based on their current ratings. I’d suggest you go in for two batteries rather than a single battery to drive all the servos.

i tried using VS1 servo motors from vegarobokits

but the motors are not working up to the mark

    i need a prefect servo

i made a servo tester using 555 timer ic but it is not working with this servo

    so

anay body suggest me any servo controller at very low cost

    i got bored with servos

as they consume lots of power

i made a dc motor works similar to that of a servo

but now i got a problem that i need 2 plastic gare motors with  twoside shaft

I never thought a dc motor can be converted to servo this easily . nice work !!
