Rf remote range

hi…….

i am working on a rf based remote control now the problem is that i am not able to find out the exact range of that remote control…

plz help me……..is this depends upon the power supply

hi,

    firstly the range of  the transmitter does not depend on the power supply.

   if u are using rf modules with encoder and decoders then u can increase the range by using rf modules with a greater range . u can find them online.
