Electronics › Electronics › rf based speed indicator
i am doing a project on rf based speed indicator. my concept is there is one transmetter on bike which is connected to speedometer and receiver is at home. so when the bike speed goes on 70 or 80 which i set then transmetter transmit signals and receiver receives it and alarm rings.
the problems is that i dont get reqired tx/rx.there fore the reception of signal at long distance is difficult i.e at 5 km that is tuning problem.
so can u recomend for high range rf module.
You don’t have to transmit any data, so all you need is a simple single frequency rf transmitter and receiver. I think you better make a circuit yourself for tx and rx. Lot of examples are available in the net.
People normally use rf modules only when they need data to be transferred.
