    hii everyone..

i am making a project in which i am using LDR and LM35, so i need one adc0804 for each.
can anyone tell me that is it possible to interface two adc0804 with at89s52??

its giving me erroneous result in proteus when i add 2nd adc0804 even without making any connection with microcontroller

my program is working fine when i use only single adc, but when i go for second adc, it stops working.
    plz help

    thank u

    Hi Pankaj,

No need of two ADCs. Suggest you to use ADC0808, which has 8 analog input channels. You can easily select any one channel at a time.

Connect the LDR and LM35 into two seperate channels and read any one of them at a time by selecting the required channel, using channel selection pins.

For more details go through the datasheet.

    thanx for your reply…

i’ve read all details about adc0808 and it can serve my purpose but the problem is, i already bought two adc0804…
so is there any way to interface both of them together?

i’ve given my connection diagram below, as soon as i add 2nd adc0804, proteus is not giving results….
