do you design your circuit when you find the right signal or when you find the right components

i think your asking, how to design a circuit by your own. ?

if this is the question, you can start with simple design to know need of resistance and capacitance and inductance later try, with transister, circuit designing is not simple matter to learn in one day, by experiance you can design your own circuit. so initiate at point and get experiance first later try to design something.
