Problem on uploading program on Atmega 16A

Hello, I made a new circuit board on AVR platform using Atmega 16A. Now using my USBASP burner when  I am trying to upload a new program on this board, I am getting this message all the time…

 

 

RSI3DCA.tmp: initialization failed, rc=-1

             Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override

             this check.

 

 

RSI3DCA.tmp done.  Thank you.

 

 

               Please somebody help me to solve this problem…

Check the connections thorughly, all VCC, GND pins should be connected. Make sure that the reset pin is connected to VCC through a resistor of value between 1K to 10K. Crystal oscillator should be connected.
