problem for downloading the code in to microcontroller

i hve connected the mc to max-232 through serial port.

iam using flash magic software for downloading the code ,when i click on start it shows “reset the isp device now” .i had pressed rest switch for sometime but it is showing the “reset the isp device now”,i have tried for so many times but it is not downloading the code.

please anyone help where the problem is

it’s very urgent reply as soon as possible.
